BD DIAGNOSTICS GETS OK FOR SYSTEM

BD Diagnostics, the medical test unit of Becton, Dickinson & Co., recently said that the Food and Drug Administration granted marketing clearance for a urine processing system designed to streamline lab operations. The company gained clearance for the BD ProbeTec Urine Preservative Transport with NAP Guard to be used with the company's similarly named DNA amplification test for chlamydia and gonorrhea.
