RESULT ANALYSIS: JB CHEMICALS SALES UP 25%

J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. achieved net sales of Rs. 1270.66 million for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005, as compared with Rs. 1034.18 million for the same period last year, registering a growth of 25%, driven mainly by higher exports. Net profit of the company stood at Rs. 245.4 million (Rs. 219.71 million) reflecting an increase of 12%. The OPM of the company stood at 22.84% in the 2QFY05-06 as compared down 117 bps. The NPM of the company came down by 210 bps to 18.35% in the quarter under review.
