INDIA NICHOLAS PIRAMAL ENTERS INTO PACT WITH ASTRAZENECA

Nicholas Piramal India Ltd. (500302.BY) Wednesday said it has signed a pact with AstraZeneca AB (AZN) of Sweden to develop pharmaceutical products. Under the agreement, both companies will set a framework for future collaboration to develop processes for manufacturing intermediate active ingredients or bulk drugs for AstraZeneca, Nicholas said. Nicholas said the development agreement doesn't have a fixed period, and the pact will last as long as the two companies have products under development.
