MYRIAD GENETICS MAKES 7 MLN STOCK OFFER

Myriad Genetics Inc. (MYGN.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Friday said it had commenced the sale of 7 million shares of its common stock in a public offering. The biopharmaceutical company said in a statement it expected to grant underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1.05 million shares to cover over-allotments, if any. As of Oct. 21, Myiad had nearly 31 million shares outstanding.
