ADOLOR CORPORATION REPORTS THIRD QUARTER 2005 FINANCIAL RESULTS

Adolor Corporation today reported financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2005. For the three months ended September 30, 2005, the Company reported a net loss of $15.2 million or $0.39 per basic and diluted share, compared to a net loss of $8.7 million or $0.22 per basic and diluted share in the three months ended September 30, 2004. For the nine month period ended September 30, 2005, the Company reported a net loss of $41.0 million or $1.05 per basic and diluted share, compared to a net loss of $32.0 million or $0.82 per basic and diluted share for the same period in 2004.
