JUBILANT Q2 NET DOWN 11 PC AT RS 27 CR

Pharma firm Jubilant Organosys reported 11 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 26.9 crore during the quarter ended September 30 from Rs 30.3 crore in the year-ago period due to increase in input material costs. Net sales for the second quarter moved up by 17 per cent to Rs 330.5 crore as exports increased by 21 per cent to Rs 103.6 crore. The pharmaceuticals and life science chemicals business continued to be the growth driver, recording 22 per cent increase in revenue during the quarter, the company said in a statement here.
