ASTELLAS AND FUJITSU SIGN AGREEMENT FOR INFORMATION-SYSTEM OUTSOURCING

Astellas Pharma Inc. (TSE: 4503) and Fujitsu Limited (TSE: 6702) today announced that they have reached an information-system outsourcing agreement on October 28. Under the agreement, the operation of Astellas' information systems which has been handled by Astellas Systems Co.,Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Astellas, "Astellas Systems") and its headquarter ERP systems will be outsourced to Fujitsu.
