SANOFI AVENTIS LICENSES EISAI BOOSTER

Sanofi pasteur, the vaccines unit Sanofi Aventis SA, said Monday that it will license a vaccine booster from Japanese drug maker Eisai Co. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. Sanofi will license Eisai's vaccine booster E6020 in the development of new vaccines. Eisai is entitled to upfront payments, milestone payments, and royalty payments on vaccines that use the booster.
