BOSTON SCIENTIFIC ANNOUNCES NEW MEDICARE REIMBURSEMENT CODES FOR RECHARGEABLE NEUROSTIMULATORS

Boston Scientific recently announced that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved its application for a new series of Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System device reimbursement codes that apply to the Precision rechargeable neurostimulator in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting. The new codes are effective for services performed on or after January 1, 2006.
