PROGENICS PHARMACEUTICALS REPORTS THIRD QUATER 2005 RESULTS

Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: PGNX) today announced its results of operations for the three months ended September 30, 2005 and first nine months of 2005. Revenues for the third quarter ended September 30, 2005 totaled $2.8 million compared to $2.4 million for the same quarter in 2004. For the first nine months of 2005, Progenics reported revenues of $7.4 million compared to $6.3 million for the comparable period in 2004. Revenues primarily reflect funding received by the Company from government grants and contracts and for research and development services rendered to its joint venture with Cytogen Corporation.
