SEEKING GROWTH, RESPIRONICS REALIGNS DIVISIONS

In order to accommodate growth, make room for more acquisitions and pave the way for the next CEO, Respironics has undergone a realignment of its divisions. John Miclot, Respironics president and CEO, hopes that the changes — which converted the company from having four divisions to three groups centered more closely around its key markets — will enable it to continue to maintain an annual growth rate in the mid-teens by giving some smaller components of the company an opportunity to grow without taking away from its core market.
