TITAN REPORTS THIRD QUARTER 2005 RESULTS

Titan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Amex: TTP) today announced financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2005. Net loss for the third quarter of 2005 was approximately $6.4 million, or $0.20 per share, compared to a net loss of approximately $6.3 million, or $0.20 per share, for the same period in 2004. For the first nine months of 2005, our net loss was approximately $18.4 million, or $0.57 per share, compared to approximately $18.2 million, or $0.59 per share, for the same nine-month period in 2004.
