COLLAGENEX GETS NIH GRANT

CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals Inc. was awarded a $962,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health Wednesday to conduct additional research into the anti-inflammatory effects of Incyclinide, the company's experimental acne treatment. The grant will be paid over two years and will support CollaGenex's manufacturing and formulation development of Incyclinide and preclinical studies of the compound's ability to treat acute inflammation.
