CELLEGY PHARMACEUTICALS ANNOUNCES THIRD QUARTER 2005 FINANCIAL RESULTS

Cellegy Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: CLGY) today reported its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2005. Net loss for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 was $2,793,000 or $0.09 per basic and diluted common share based on 29,832,000 weighted average common shares. Cellegy had a net loss of $3,143,000 or $0.14 per basic and diluted common share during the same period in 2004. Cellegy's cumulative net loss for the nine month period in 2005 was $3,044,000 or $0.11 per basic and diluted common share compared to a net loss of $8,909,000 or $0.43 per common share during the same period last year.
