RELIANT PHARMACEUTICALS PULLS IPO DUE TO CONDITIONS

Reliant Pharmaceuticals Inc., which markets branded cardiovascular pharmaceutical products, on Thursday withdrew its planned $300 million initial public offering due to unfavorable market conditions. Since filing a preliminary offering document with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in May, the company had not revealed the amount of shares or the estimated price range.
