PEREGRINE UNIT GETS MANUFACTURING PACT

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Tuesday that its Avid Bioservices unit entered a manufacturing agreement with the San Diego-based Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. Under the agreement, Avid will make a therapeutic antibody for Sidney Kimmel to test in animals. The drug is directed at treating lung cancer.
