ALNYLAM PHARMA FILES FOR $75 MILLION STOCK SHELF

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ALNY.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Wednesday filed with regulators to periodically sell up to $75 million in common stock. The biopharmaceutical company said in a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it would use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including research and development, clinical trial costs, general and administrative expenses, and acquisitions.
