GLENMARK ACQUIRES MARKETING COMPANY IN ARGENTINA

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals SA (GPSA), a wholly owned Swiss subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, acquired an Argentine marketing company Servycal S A for an undisclosed consideration. This is a 100 percent all-cash acquisition funded through internal accruals of GPSA and marks the direct entry of an Indian pharmaceutical company for the first time ever in Argentina. Servycal, with a focused oncology portfolio, will enable Glenmark to expand its geographical scope of product offerings in South American pharmaceutical markets.
