RICHTER SIGNS LICENCE DEAL WITH KV PHARMACEUTICAL

Hungarian drugmaker Richter Gedeon signed a long-term licence agreement with KV Pharmaceutical Company to distribute the US company's vaginosis drug "Gynazole-1" in 18 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, including Hungary, Richter announced on Thursday. Under the licence agreement, Richter will pay a one-off fee and other fees to KV, as well as commissions on sales. But these fees and commissions will not be paid yet this year, Richter said.
