AASTROM TO TEST ADULT-STEM CELL PRODUCT

Biotechnology company Aastrom Biosciences Inc. said Wednesday it will hold a clinical trial to test a product aimed at forming new bone tissue with adult stem cells. The company, which has received approval for the trial from the Food and Drug Administration, said the trial will test a product derived from adult stem cells to form new bone tissue in human spines.
