ORCHID'S NEW FACILITY TO BLOOM WITH 60 MN USD: RAO

The new formulation complex of Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd at Irungattukottai in Sriperumbudur, near here, will yield an additional revenue of 60 million USD by 2008, Company Managing Director K Raghavendra Rao has said. Interacting with newspersons at the company's new 25-acre factory yesterday before President A P J Abdul Kalam arrival, Mr Rao said the state-of-the-art vial lyophilization facility for manufacture of Bectalactam antibiotics was expected to generate the extra revenue by 2007-08.
