MEDIPATTERN RECEIVES ITS CANADIAN MEDICAL DEVICE LICENSE FOR B-CAD 1.0

Medipattern, a leading developer of computer-aided detection (CAD) software applications for medical imaging, recently announced that it has received its medical device license from Health Canada, enabling Canada-wide sales and distribution for B-CAD, Medipattern's innovative new software for breast ultrasound. In conjunction with Medipattern's receipt of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) for B-CAD, and the ISO 13485 2003, CE Mark, and CMDCAS registrations regarding manufacturing standards, the Health Canada medical device license means that B-CAD can now be sold virtually anywhere in the world.
