3I BACKS ULTHERA IN BRINGING THERAPEUTIC ULTRASOUND PRODUCT TO COSMETICS MARKET

Ulthera, a therapeutic ultrasound medical device company targeting the cosmetics market, today announced that it has raised $5.5m in Series A funding from world leading venture capital firm, 3i. 3i Investors Allan Ferguson and Paul Badawi join Ulthera co-founder, CEO and Chairman, Michael Slayton on the board.
