NEWTOWN, PA., PHARMA FIRM BUYS ALL SANSROSA SHARES

CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Thursday it has entered into a definitive agreement to buy all the shares of SansRosa Pharmaceutical Development Inc. SansRosa, based in Philadelphia, is the assignee of various patent applications covering innovative methods for the treatment of redness associated with rosacea and other skin disorders. Under the terms of the agreement, CollaGenex (NASDAQ:CGPI) of Newtown, Pa., will make an initial payment of $750,000 for 51 percent of the shares of SansRosa.
