LEXICON RECEIVES MILESTONE PAYMENTS

Biotechnology company Lexicon Genetics Inc. on Tuesday said it has earned two milestone payments totaling $20 million from its collaboration with Genentech Inc. The first payment comes after Lexicon reached a fourth and final milestone in its analysis of the physiological and behavioral functions in Genentech's "secreted protein discovery" program.
