GVK BIO, DAI-ICHI TO FORM INOGENT LAB

GVK Biosciences and Dai-Ichi Karkaria have entered into an 80:20 equity stake joint venture to form Inogent Laboratories. Dai-Ichi Karkaria's pharma business unit in Hyderabad has been transferred to Inogent on a slump sale basis. Inogent would leverage itself on the expertise of the parent companies. GVK Bio offers contract research, medicinal and process chemistry, bio informatics, clinical research, BA/BE studies and knowledge process outsourcing.
