KOREAN ANTI-CANCER DRUG TO UNDERGO TRIALS IN U.S.

A cancer-treating substance discovered by a Korean biotech company will literally be under the microscope at one of the world's leading cancer treatment centers. Korea Green Cross Corp. announced yesterday that Greenstatin, an anti-cancer agent it discovered, will be the subject of clinical research by The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Korea Green Cross and the U.S. cancer hospital will jointly conduct pre-clinical research on the agent.
