ALLERGAN EXTENDS EXPIRATION DATE OF INAMED EXCHANGE OFFER

Allergan, Inc. today announced that it is extending the expiration date of its exchange offer for all outstanding shares of common stock of Inamed Corporation. The exchange offer is being extended as U.S. antitrust approval of the Inamed acquisition has not yet been received, and will now expire at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on February 22, 2006. The exchange offer was previously scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, February 7, 2006.
