SONTRA MEDICAL INTRODUCES GENERATION 1.75 SONOPREP SKIN PERMEATION DEVICE

Sontra Medical Corporation announced today that it has introduced its Generation 1.75 SonoPrep skin permeation device for topical lidocaine delivery. The upgraded device has a new and improved ultrasonic hand piece and fluid delivery system that is much smaller, simpler and less expensive to manufacture. The new hand piece also will be incorporated into the 2nd generation SonoPrep skin permeation device scheduled to be introduced in May 2006.
