MEDICINE EXPORTS INCREASE 7.5 PERCENT IN 2005

The Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry exported about 18 million USD worth of
medicines in 2005, a year-on-year increase of 7.5 percent. The increase was a
result of the sector's efforts to upgrade equipment and technology, improve product
quality, and stimulate trade promotion activities.
