THAI ANTI-BIRD FLU DRUG TO BE SOLD IN JULY

The first 200,000 tablets of Thai-made anti-bird flu viral drugs, a generic version of the Tamiflu, will be available to the public in July, local sources said. These medicines have successfully been manufactured by the Government Pharmaceutical Organisation (GPO), Deputy Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said on Feb. 9, adding that after completion of laboratory testing, they would be available for public distribution.
