MOODY'S DOWNGRADES BOSTON SCIENTIFIC'S DEBT RATING

Moody's Investors Service on Monday cut its ratings on Boston Scientific and said it may cut them again, citing the pending acquisition of Guidant Corp. for about $27.5 billion. Moody's cut Boston Scientific's long-term debt rating one notch to "Baa1," the third-lowest investment-grade rating, from "A3."
