PRIVATE HEALTHCARE UNITS TO BE GIVEN MORE ENCOURAGEMENT

The Vietnamese Government will continue to encourage private healthcare units, while intensifying State supervision over the private healthcare sector. Over the last year, the private healthcare sector has provided medical exams and treatment for nearly three million patients. So far, 46 private hospitals and more than 65,000 other private healthcare and pharmaceutical units have been granted operational licenses.
