POSSIS MEDICAL, INC. REPORTS SECOND QUARTER RESULTS

Possis Medical, Inc., a company that develops, manufactures and markets pioneering medical devices for the large and growing cardiovascular and vascular treatment markets, today reported sales of $15.1 million for the fiscal second quarter ended January 31, 2006, versus $16.2 million in the year-ago period, and $15.5 million sequentially in the first quarter of fiscal 2006.
