FRESENIUS REPORTS 13 PERCENT PROFIT GAIN

Fresenius Medical Care AG posted a 7 percent rise in its fourth-quarter net profit Wednesday and said its US$3.8 billion (euro3.2 billion) acquisition of U.S.-based Renal Care Group Inc. would likely be complete by the end of March.
