SERUM INSTITUTE OF INDIA TO INVEST RS 1200 CRORES IN INDIA'S FIRST BIOTECH SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE IN PUNE

Serum Institute of India, India's largest exporter of vaccines and immuno-biologicals, today announced an investment of Rs 1200 crores at the inauguration of India's first biotech Special Economic Zone in Pune. The Special Economic Zone is located in Hadapsar, adjoining Serum Institute's existing manufacturing unit. This is a Sector Specific SEZ meant for biotechnology and pharmaceutical products.
