SCHERING-PLOUGH INTENSIFIES FOCUS ON EUROPE, LATIN AMERICA AND ASIA-PACIFIC

Schering-Plough Corporation today announced that it is intensifying its focus on key regions and countries through a number of strategic actions in the company's Global Pharmaceutical Business. The changes are part of the company's six- to eight-year Action Agenda to transform Schering-Plough into a global high performance competitor for the long-term. These changes come as the company works to deliver the 12- to 18-month Turnaround Phase that began in October 2005.
