CLINICAL STUDY SET FOR IMPLANTABLE HEARING AID

March 7, 2006

Otologics, a developer of hearing devices announced that it is enrolling patients in a clinical study for a fully implantable hearing device. Unlike traditional hearing aids, this device is not visible externally.

For the most part, hearing aids present restrictions -- they must be removed for many activities such as swimming, aerobics and showering, because of perspiration or other moisture.

Patients 18 years of age or older, with moderate to severe hearing loss may be eligible to participate in this clinical study.
