TELEFLEX MEDICAL AWARDED CHEST DRAINAGE AGREEMENT

Teleflex Medical, is a leading global supplier of disposable medical products, surgical instruments and medical devices, has been awarded a dual-source agreement with a healthcare alliance for its complete line of Pleur-evac chest drainage systems and thoracic catheters.

The three-year agreement with Premier, a healthcare alliance entirely owned by more than 200 of the nation's nonprofit hospital and healthcare systems, began on March 1. Specific products included in the award are the Pleur-evac Sahara S-1100 dry series, Pleur-evac wet series and Pleur-evac high suction control series of products.
