CANTRONIC SUCCESSFULLY RENEWS MEDICAL DEVICE ESTABLISHMENT LICENCE

Cantronic Systems Inc. is pleased to announce that it has successfully renewed its Canadian Medical Device Establishment Licence (the "licence"). This licence is required for any entity in Canada which manufactures for retail sale of any medical devices within Canada. The intent of the medical device establishment licensing requirements in the Health Canada regulations is to require licence holders to provide some assurance to the Inspectorate that they have met the regulatory requirements and have documented procedures in place, where applicable, related to distribution records, complaint handling, recalls, mandatory problem reporting and for handling, storage, delivery, installation, and servicing, with respect to the medical devices they retail sell.
