DCGI LICENCE MUST TO IMPORT, MAKE MEDICAL DEVICES

Import and manufacture of medical devices in the country will now be licensed according to the guidelines brought out by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). These guidelines are effective from March 1, 2006.
