INNERCOOL SOLD TO CARDIUM FOR JUST $6 MILLION

Some venture capital investors in InnerCool Therapies may be feeling a chill. The San Diego medical device firm, which had raised about $50 million from investors since it was formed in 1998 to develop a system to induce hypothermia, was acquired this week for a sparse $6 million.
