PAR PHARMACEUTICAL NAMES MARTINO CFO

Par Pharmaceutical Cos., maker and marketer of generic and brand-name drugs, on Thursday said it named Gerard A. Martino vice president and chief financial officer, effective immediately. He replaces Dennis J. O'Connor, who will be vice president, administration, responsible for special projects.
