NIGERIAN FIRM TO PRODUCE ONE MILLION AIDS DRUGS DAILY

Archy Pharmaceutical Nigeria has disclosed plans to produce daily as much as one million units of medications used in the treatment of HIV/AIDS. Archivir, the new drug, is a triple combination of Stavudine, Lamivudine and Nevirapine, which hitherto formed different regimens. There is a July target for the provision of Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) for 250, 000 Nigerians living with HIV.
