MEDTRONIC FILES AGAINST GUIDANT STENT IN IRELAND

Medtronic Inc. said Tuesday that it has taken a stent medical-device patent-infringement lawsuit against Guidant Corp. (GDT) to Ireland, one of two countries where Guidant manufactures the products in question.
