SHAREHOLDERS OK BOSTON SCIENTIFIC, GUIDANT DEAL

Medical device makers Boston Scientific Corp. and Guidant Corp. said on Friday their shareholders voted overwhelmingly to approve the combination of the companies at separate special meetings.
