TARGACEPT AIMS LOWER IN SECOND IPO ATTEMPT

Targacept is aiming to raise between $55 million and $65 million through an initial public stock offering, according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Its target share price is set at $11 to $13 for 5 million shares.
