WYETH RAISES STAKE IN JAPANESE VENTURE

Pharmaceutical company Wyeth said Friday it has increased its stake in Japanese joint venture Wyeth K.K. to 80 percent for an undisclosed sum. Wyeth's purchase raises the company's ownership in the venture by 10 percentage points. The company owns the venture with Takeda Pharmaceutical Co.
