TALKS OVER SOFTWARE PIRACY, TRADE BARRIERS SEEN AS BOOST

Software piracy and trade barriers to medical devices were among the issues of local interest discussed during high-level trade talks this week between U.S. and Chinese officials in Washington, D.C. The trade talks were completed Tuesday in advance of summit meetings between Chinese President Hu Jintao and U.S. President Bush next Thursday.
