MEDICAL FIRMS FINISH MERGER

Alliance Medical and Vanguard Medical Concepts have joined to form Ascent Healthcare Solutions, company officials said April 17. The move finalizes the merger between the two companies announced last fall. Ascent, an independent third-party reprocessor of single-use medical devices, is headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz., and operates a reprocessing center on Great Oak Drive in Lakeland.
